VISA AND RESIDENCY PERMIT (IKAMET)

A student visa is not a requirement for short term students. But for those who are willing to stay in Turkey for more than two months should apply for a Student Visa BEFORE they complete their travel plans to Turkey.

TAA Language Programs are approved and accredited by the Turkish Ministry of Education. Enrollment in the TAA-Language School for the Turkish programs enables you to get a one-year student visa and residency permit in Turkey

For a start, you should apply to our school via e-mail or phone to get a Letter of Acceptance. For this, please send us your passport information:

Your full name (Exactly as shown on your passport)
Your passport number
Your birth date (dd/mm(yy)
Your nationality

and express the date you wish to start your tuition and the program type you wish to attend.

     
 

You are required to pay an “Admission Fee” of 75$ to the school account (details given below). The Letter of Acceptance will be sent to you as a scanned copy via e-mail together with a copy of your invoice, and the hard copy will be sent to your address via mail POD

  You are to apply to the Turkish Consulate nearest to your area with these documents to obtain a
“Student Visa”.
     
  You must make your application early enough considering that the visa procedures may take approximately 1.5 to 3 months.
     
  You will be issued a Residency Permit after arriving to Turkey with your student visa and completing your enrollment in our Turkish program. Our school will assist you with the procedures in Turkey.
     
  The 75$ admission fee is non-refundable
     

You may apply to the state or private dorms in Ankara with a letter you'll get from our school after your enrollment.

State dorms generally provide breakfast and dinner. Prices are very reasonable. (Monthly avarage is around 200-300$) However, you should agree to share your room with 3-5 more students. Beddings and towels are generally not provided.

Costs in private dorms are higher (Monthly avarage is around 600$) Breakfast and dinner is generally provided.

* Note that enrollment for a minimum period of 6 months is a requirement for the dorms and curfew is always applied.

* We can assist you with your accommodation only if you send us a request at least one month before your arrival date.
